Story

“After a drunken house party with his straight mates, Russell heads out to a gay club. Just before closing time, he picks up Glen but what’s expected to be just a one-night stand becomes something else, something special.”

ok. Dad?

Russell is an orphan.

Glen therefore gives Russell the one present he has always desired:

a chance to come out to his parents.

“Why don’t I pretend to be your dad and you can come out to me?”
- Glen -

“OK. Dad?”
- Russell -

The type treatment aims to portrait the back and forth nature of the conversation, just like how Glen and Russell whispering to each other. Hence, this visual experience allows the readers to become both Glen and Russell at the same time and therefore, become part of the conversation themselves.
